Cork County Even Age Cross Country Championships 5th October 2021
A highly enjoyable and successful day of cross country at the Cork County championships. Gold medals for the boys U10, girls U12 and U14 teams. Silver medals for the girls U10 team. Some notable individual results also with the Flynn sisters finishing in first and second to claim gold and silver in the U12 girls. Mason Walsh took gold in the U10 boys, while Kyle Hunter took bronze in the same race. Grace Healy finished 3rd in the girls U10 for bronze and Stephen mchugh in the U12 also took bronze. Also a bronze finisher was Anna Lucey O’Sullivan in the U14 girls.
Well done to everyone. Next week will see many of the athletes returning for the Uneven age championships many of who will be running in their own age groups.
