A glorious day greeted the athletes in Santry, Dublin on Sunday 21st November for the All Ireland Even Age Cross Country. First up were the U12 girls, with Emma Flynn finishing in 12th position followed by Michaela Flynn (30th), Ciara Kiely (53rd), and Hannah O’Connell (62nd) to claim the Club Team Silver medal. Emma claimed a County and Provincial Gold, while Micheala Flynn claimed a County Gold team medal. In the U12 Boys race, Stephen McHugh finished 33rd to claim a County Gold medal with Cork. Iain Buckley claimed the County Silver medal in the U14 boys and was also part of the team with Tomas Kiely, Sean O’Callaghan, and Oisin O’Brien that finish 9th best Club team. The U14 Girls team finished in 6th with Caolainn Ryan, Muireann Bradley, Anna Lucey O’Sullivan and Kate Healy all finishing within 9 places.

Well done to everyone that took part last Sunday. A huge achievement getting to an All Ireland final and each and every athlete did the club proud.
