A wet and windy day awaited athletes in NewTwoBorris on Sunday 30th October but it certainly didn’t deter anyone from putting in a tremendous effort across the day. Michaela Flynn and Ciara Kiely won gold for the Cork team with Amy Cotter making the County team also. Mason Walsh finished 4th in the U11 boys and qualified individually. The U11 girls, Michaela Flynn, Ciara Kiely, Amy Cotter, Grace Healy, Muireann Murphy, and Eva O’Neill all made the All Ireland team. Kyle Hunter makes the county team also. In the U13 girls, Emma Flynn, Kate Healy, Muireann Bradley, Ava Shorten, Leah Ryan, and Megan Withers qualify for the All Irelands in December. Both Emma and Kate won gold for the County team. In the u13’s Tomas Kiely ran home in first place to claim the Gold and Munster title. In the U15 boys Iain Buckley qualifies for the County Team.

Well done to everyone for their contribution in difficult conditions. A special note to our three coaches for their time and effort preparing our young athletes for these championships.
